LocalBiz vs Durable
Durable gives you a quick hosted site with customer tools around it. LocalBiz writes the local pages and blog posts, and puts the code in your own GitHub.
The short answer
Choose Durable if you want a site live today with hosting included, plus a CRM, online booking, forms and help with Google reviews. It has a free plan to try it on. Choose LocalBiz if you need a page for every service and every area you cover, a blog that keeps publishing, and rank tracking for each keyword. Durable doesn't write city or service-area pages.
The trade-off is setup. LocalBiz doesn't host your site: you connect your own GitHub and Vercel accounts when you start. Durable has no setup step like that.

What Durable does well
- Very fast to start. A hosted site is live in minutes, with nothing to connect first.
- Customer tools in one price. A CRM, online booking, custom forms and directory listings come with the paid plans.
- Help with Google reviews. Send review requests, show your Google reviews on the site, and let its review agent draft replies.
- A free plan, with 300 AI credits to try it, on a durable.site address.
- Built-in translation into up to five extra languages, kept in step with the original.
Where LocalBiz is different
- It writes the local pages. Durable makes pages, but not one for every service and area you serve. LocalBiz writes those, one by one, for each place you work.
- Your site is yours. The code lives in your own GitHub and runs on your own Vercel account. With Durable, the site goes when you cancel.
- It tracks where you rank. Every keyword in every area, on regular Google results, in any country. Durable doesn't track Google rankings.
- One price for every business. One credit pool covers as many businesses as you run.
Which one to choose
- you want a site live today with no setup
- you want a CRM, booking and forms built in
- you want help asking for and replying to Google reviews
- you want to start on a free plan
- you serve several areas and need a page for each
- you want a blog that keeps publishing without you
- you want to own your site's code
- you want to see where every keyword ranks in every area
Pricing compared
Starter: 100 credits a month, unlimited businesses. Plans go up to $250 for 1,000 credits. Month to month.
Launch plan, billed monthly, with 1,000 AI credits a month. Grow is $49 with 5,000 credits. Yearly billing saves 15% ($22 and $41). The free plan runs on a durable.site address.
Note: LocalBiz sites run on your own Vercel account. Vercel's free plan is for non-commercial use, so a business site may need Vercel's paid plan.
Using both, or switching
- Keep Durable for your CRM, booking and reviews if you use them.
- Connect your own GitHub and Vercel accounts, then build the homepage and blog in LocalBiz.
- Let LocalBiz write your service and city pages, and add them to the site.
- Point your domain at the new site. Durable can't export, so your old pages stay there.
Questions
Can LocalBiz replace Durable?
Only if you don't need its customer tools. LocalBiz has no CRM, booking or review tools, and no contact form yet. If you use those, keep Durable for them, or stay on Durable.
Which is cheaper?
Durable has a free plan, and Launch is $25 a month with hosting included. LocalBiz starts at $25 a month, and you host on your own Vercel account, which may need a paid plan for a business site. For several businesses, LocalBiz's one credit pool covers them all.
Does Durable make city pages?
Its pricing page lists unlimited AI-generated pages, but nothing about city or service-area pages. You would build those yourself.
Is there a free trial?
Durable has a free plan with no time limit. LocalBiz has no trial; plans are month to month, billed in USD by card.
