LocalBiz vs Yext
Yext keeps your business details right across 200+ publishers. LocalBiz builds the website and writes the pages that rank on it.
The short answer
Choose Yext if you run many locations and need your details pushed straight to 200+ publishers, with no aggregator in between. Few tools reach that far, and LocalBiz doesn't manage listings at all. Choose LocalBiz if you need a website, service and city pages, and a blog that keeps publishing, billed month to month. Yext's self-serve plans are listings only, billed yearly. Plenty of businesses use a listings tool and LocalBiz together.

What Yext does well
- The widest reach. Your details go straight to 200+ publishers, with no aggregator in between.
- Ready for AI search. It sends your data to AI tools as well as directories, and shows how AI answers cite you next to local rivals.
- Built for scale. Yext Pages can launch thousands of location, provider or service pages from templates and live data.
- Straight talk on cancelling. Yext says it won't force your listings to revert if you leave.
Where LocalBiz is different
- It writes the pages. Yext pushes your details to directories and fills page templates from your data. LocalBiz writes each service page, city page and blog post.
- Month to month. Yext's self-serve plans are billed yearly. LocalBiz starts at $25/mo with no contract.
- Your site is yours. The code lives in your own GitHub, so you can leave with it.
- One price for every business. Credits are shared across unlimited businesses, and unused credits roll over up to twice your monthly amount.

Questions
Can LocalBiz replace Yext?
No. LocalBiz doesn't manage listings. If you need your details on many directories, keep Yext or a cheaper listings tool, and use LocalBiz for your site and content.
What happens to my listings if I cancel Yext?
Yext says it won't force them to revert. It stops sending your data, and each publisher's normal process takes over, so listings may change over time.
Which is cheaper?
Yext's cheapest plan is $199 a year per location, and plans with Google start at $449 a year. LocalBiz starts at $25 a month, month to month. They do different jobs.
Doesn't Yext build pages too?
Yext Pages builds location, provider and service pages from templates and your Yext data, for brands with many locations. It doesn't write blog posts.
